Welcome! My name is Emily Spikes Shannon. I am a painter born, raised, and working in Lafayette, Louisiana.
My work is influenced primarily by the sights, sounds, and traditions of Louisiana culture. My biggest goal with my work is to remind the viewer that even the most simple elements of our culture are filled with beauty and intrigue.
